I knew that some libraries and groups keep local files of obits and was hoping that might be the case in Boulder to check this fellow.

I suspect he is a man who was born in Kansas at the same time as my George Cochren . There are two there of roughly the same age; one line comes from Reno Co., Ks and Delaware Co., Ind; the other from Dodge City, KS, a different part of Indiana and Knox Co., OH. They have similar names but so far I have been unable to connect the two groups - so a lot of confusion for some researchers.
