And just as an aside, I have spent literally decades researching Annie/Nancy. We--my mom, myself, and her siblings--only new their mom as Nancy Monica James (married to E Curtiss James with a maiden name of Sammon.) But when I couldn't locate any records after over a decade of searching in England I asked my aunt to ask her some questions based on what I had found (i.e. Edward was in the US during her conception and birth for starters) and that is when we all learned that her birth name was Annie James and she thought her biological father's name was Lloyd, but she wasn't sure. She died very soon after that and whatever else she knew went with her. But I almost immediately found the records you referenced in your post above and I believe I have found Catherines marriage certificate for her first marriage, and Annie's birth certificate too. But with all the lies I cannot be sure and that is why I am trying to research Cassie. Her birth records will either confirm or deny that she and Annie are sisters or that Catherine and Annie are sisters.
