I think I found Cassie's immigration records in 1925. She came from Liverpool to Canada and Catherine was staying in Montreal (at least as far as the ships manifest is concerned.) Also, it indicates that Catherine Sammon and Cassie/Catherine are aunt and niece which matches the original story that the two girls were told. For the first time in several years I am feeling somewhat encouraged in this search.

Also, the manifest says that Cassie/Catherine's dad's name was Richard James and that is who I thought was Annie's biological dad and Catherine Sammon's first husband. This appears to be supporting my theory that she lied about being a spinster when she married Edward Sammon.
