As you know Cornelius was a very popular preacher in California. One of the letters I inherited mentioned that Francis Marion's wife Alice Foster had been left with his papers, I guess after Francis Marion died. I think she went to Contra Costa Co. and may have remarried. It seemed that Alice's sister thought that they might be valuable but what happened to the papers I couldn't figure out. Look in the notes under Cornelius Yager. My GGrandmother Bettie Moutrey seems to have been confused as to Francis Marion's widow.
