When you post, post the link to your family tree:

It helps identify information you already have and what sources. It helps prevent you receiving information that is incorrect.

I see you have the emigration and excommunication information from 1846. I'm leaving a couple of sources below that you may already have.

There are posted family trees containing Elijah and Seba...conflicting. Two show him as born in 1902, one 5 July 1805; one, 6 June 1806. His wife was "Seba Adalaide Harper," "Seba Mattie", Seba Mattie Roberts." The 1805 birth is the only record that is "sourced," but this source is the 1860 Census. A census does not show a month, year or place of birth.

In a San Francisco tour book for the Intersection of Green and Laguna, is the site of the Elijah Ward Pell house, the first dwelling in Cow Hollow. Pell came to SF in 1846 on the ship "Brooklyn" as part of the Samuel Brannan's Mormon contingent. He was excommunicated for "licentious behavior" during the voyage. He bought a 100 square yard lot from Thomas Larkin in 1847, where he established a house and garden.
In another book, Pell went on to serve as sheriff of San Francisco in 1846.

This book lists E. Ward Pell and much information about the voyage of the Brooklyn:
