Hi,
I'm trying to find out more about a ship wreck off the Mendocino Coast on Nov. 22, 1896 on the ship San Benito.

There was a Mr. Condon aboard I would like to find out more about. It said the steamer sunk near Point Arena.

They had two other dates with this info, Nov. 25, 1896 & Dec. 1896. Most likely when they found the ship and when they did a memorial of some kind. Please email if anyone has more info or newspaper copies of this event.
