Should you be traveling to the San Francisco area, you
might plan time to take a trip to the Island which is
open to the public.
"Angel Island is open from 8 a.m. to sunset year round. For those interested in visiting the Immigration Station, it is necessary to take a guided tour to enter the barracks. To arrange for a volunteer docent, please contact the Angel Island Association (AIA) at (415) 435-3522. Group tours are also available through AIA for a small fee.
