Can anyone tell me how to contact a professional genealogist in the Fresno area? I want to obtain information from two obits (One in Fresno and the other in Madera County) but have had no luck so far. I posted requests here on rootsweb and also signed up at "Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness" I did local research for over two dozen people here in my county and two people promised to look up one obit each in California and that was many months ago. I called the library and offered to pay someone there, but they can only put me on a waiting list to have a volunteer look it up for me, and again, that was some time ago. I would gladly pay reasonable professional fees to obtain the information I am seeking. I have the death dates and full names, so it should be a farily easy job. Can anyone reccommend someone?
