Thank you for the information about Henry Hasselbach. Is there any information about his wife? I have Mary Ann, (unknown maiden name) Husselbach, age 17 in 1850.

In the 1850 census for Columbus, IN, they each gave their country of origin as Germany. But in Arkansas, 1880, gave their respective origins as France and England.

While in Indiana, they had 9 children. Magdalena, b 1848, married Henry Schnur and remained in Columbus, IN. She was my gggrandmother. She died in 1938.

Dorothy was born in 1850, and I have no further info about her. Eddie was born Jan 1866 and died 23 Mar, 1869. He is buried near his sister, Magdalena, in Lot 83 of the Columbus City (Indiana) Cemetery.
