Two great-grandsons of William P. Hodges have taken Y-DNA tests at FTDNA. One great-grandson and one 2nd great-grandson have taken autosomal DNA (family finder) test.
Y-results are posted to FTDNA-they match each other and many families with the surname Crow.
Autosomal tests are at FTDNA and 23 and me, with autosomal at GEDmatch. If you have tested at these sites look to see if you have a match for the Hodges surname.

So far we have one confirmed match - by that I mean DNA match and paper trail confirmed - to another descendant of Lemuel Hensley/Nancy Duncan.
And 2 confirmed matches to descendants of Isaac Cahill Morris/Susan Tacker.

Confirmed cousin matches to Baker and DeShazo families of Carroll/Boone County, Arkansas.

DNA is very random. We have know 3rd cousins with Y-DNA match and no "cousin" match and we have 8th cousins with whom we do have a "cousin" match.
