We did the Y-DNA testing on my husband and a 3rd cousins (William P. Hodges descendants from Searcy county)to 67 markers, but did not do the percentages. No "matches" on Hodges, but 1 marker off of the basis for a group of families with the surname Crow with I1 Halotype, which tends to be Scandinavian and who have all been in United states since before at 1820. On his mother's side we know it is 1/2 German and 1/2 Swedish as that is well documented due to relatively recent (post Civil War) immigration to the US. DNA testing is interesting, so far it has not help us fill-in our family trees.
