I am happy to share my findings with you. About 10 years ago I got the help of a professional genealogist. She sent me marriage certificates for William and 3 of his wives along with land deeds from when he arrived in Arkansas and when he left. I wasn't sure he was Thomas and Elizabeth's son but then I took a closer look at who his siblings would have been and found a couple of them living close to him and his family in the census records for 1850 and 1860. They're also listed in the land deeds I have for him so that's what convinced me I was on the right track. William settled in Genoa, Nevada. Luckily one of his oldest sons, John survived all the traveling and he was another link to the Arkansas William and the Nevada William.
