I have recently undertaken research on the family of a friend. Her great grandparents were Robert E. Smith and Nancy Russell Smith. Her grandmother was Sarah (Sally) Ann Smith Roberts, their daughter. And, her father was Loy Eugene Roberts, Sarah's son. She knows virtually nothing of her family beyond her grandparents, but we do have a fairly accurate list of Sarah's children with birth and death dates to share.
