I'm some confused. The 1850 AR, Lawrence, Spring River,ancestry.com image 6 has Merrell, Andrew J. age 17; Elizabeth, age 11; James, age 9, Otto, age 6 and Green L.,age 1. In 1860,(AR, Lawrence, Black River, ancestry.com image 19) Green and two additional children are listed just below Thomas J. Evans and Elizabeth with his children and additional one undoubtedly by Elizabeth. James Merrell is living with Thornton Ward on same census. So which Elizabeth did Thomas J. Evans marry: Andrew J's widow or possibly his sister, even though the ages don't match?
