I am woking on The Earl Lewis family that came to Arkansas and was on the tax list in Washington Co in 1837 and from there to Crawford Co. on the 1840 Census He and Elizabeth McCollister had 16 Children from 1801-1825. I found a James C. Oliver and Elizabeth Lewis that married 25 Nov 1847 in Washington Co. and are in the 1850 Census in Crawford Co. Elizabeth's age (23 b.1827 TN) son Lewis age 3. that appears too young to fit in Earl's family if her age is correct, but being born in TN (Wayne Co.) fits his youngest children.
