Tamifaye-
Your post intrigued me, since I was wondering how/if Clay Fulks/Fowlkes fit in to the Gabriel I Fowlkes line or not. According to my research, 4W's father was Thompson Jr., who was born 6-6-1780 in Lunenburg, Virginia. His full name was Wilkerson Thompson Fowlkes. He married Elizabeth Phillips on 2-24-1804. About 1805 he moved with his brothers Gabriel Jr. and John G. to Williamson Co., TNN where he married Priscilla Hyde Hedges, born 12-5-1786, daughter of Hartwell Hyde & Mary Revis/Lewis Blount, on 11-15-1806. Her older sister, Haley Jane Hyde was married to Thompson Jr.’s brother, Gabriel.
They lived in Bedford Co. and were able to accumulate a small fortune. They lived there until about 1811. By 1811 they were living in Rutherford Co., TNN on Stewarts Creek of Stones River. In 1821 he moved to Weakley Creek, in neighboring Bedford Co. In 1835 Thompson sold his Bedford Co. property along with several slaves and moved to Swan Creek near Stanfill, joining his brothers in Hickman Co., TNN. He died after 1850.

Your post says Clay was a brother to 4W- could you confirm your source? Also, was 4W Jr. or John Cebestion your father? Do you have any information on $W Jr's or John C.'s children. Please contact me at:
