My great grandfather was Jacob "Jake" L. Chamlee and he was married to Arminta " Minnie" Lemon. Arminta was from a very large family in fact her mother had 16 children and her father had 25 by three wives.I also know that her family lived all over Arkansas. I was thinking that perhaps your Shamblin was really Chamblee/Chamlee as Shamblin was often written down for the name Chamblee. I am unsure of the name of my Jake's father but believe his mother was Evelyn Huckabee. We have reason to believe that Evelyn may have been married to a Bearden before marrying Chamlee and we believe she married a Davis after Chamlee died.
