Betty so nice to "meet" you. I would love to share information with you.
The Starr connection has not been proven completely as far as I know, due to the fact that no one seems to know her first name. John Boen's first wife was reported to be Miss Starr - she was the mother of Timy Ann Boen Doak Johnson Spitler. John Boen, Timy's father, remarried & had several more children. They lived in Crawford county area then. Timy Ann Boen married William Doak (who died during the Civil War in Fort Smith, they had three sons before he died. He is supposed to be buried in Van Buren AR in the cemetery on "Log Town Hill". His headstone is at Lone Pine Cemetery in Johnson Co beside hers. I hope that we can exchange more information as well.
