RICHARD R. WAGNER
Richard Raymond Wagner, 58, of Florence died July 5, 2000 in Florence.

Visitation was from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Simes Mortuaries Florence Chapel. The funeral there was at 3 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. Charles Cloud officiating.

Mr. Wagner was born Aug. 2, 1941 in Norwalk, Conn., to Raymond and Evelyn Wagner. A Marine Corps veteran, he moved to Arizona from Hampton, Va., in 1996 and was a corrections officer for Corrections Corporation of America. He loved the water and enjoyed yachting and cooking.

Survivors include his wife, Frankie; a stepdaughter, Katherine E. Nelson of Coolidge; two sons, Dennis S. Wagner of Florence and Steven A. Wagner of Hayward, Calif.; and one grandchild.
