Bravda is my great great great grandmother and was a full blooded Apache Indian. I can find no records on her. She was apparently taken in by a group of Italian missionaries and raised by the priests and nuns at a convent (maybe a mission?). She became fluent in Italian and then traveled back to Italy with a family that she originally began working for in the states. In Italy, she met a Spaniard, I believe his name was Louie (possibly Luis or Louis) Valencia. They had three children together: Emma, Mary and Louie. Emma married a Jewish man with the last name Secondorf and moved to Los Angeles, California. Mary married Delfino Genardini (I believe he was Italian) and then Jim Herron (the sheriff of Tombstone Arizona). I do not know anything about Louie. Does anyone know how I might be able to retrieve any information about Bravda?
