There's a William Riddle born Scotland living Claiborne Co. Port Gibson Miss. 1850, 45 years old, since in 1850 Green Joseph is 21, William could be his father. William's listed as a Presbyterian minister. In 1870 Green Joseph is back in Ala., alone in Randolph Co.-Talladega. His parents could've been married So. Car. or Ala. There's a marriage in Ala. records Talladega, for a William Green Riddle Jr. and Mary Ellen Smith 1852. In Bosquville Cemetery Waco 1880's a Dr. James J. Riddle circuit rider Baptist preacher, same cemetery as Green's daughter Lula. Don't know where boys Green and George went nor their mother Missouri. Looking for lineage and family.
