Liz (frazure@liv.... is descended from Mrs. Susan Twiner who was Wm. McClure's sister. There's another sister-don't have paper in front of me. Also in the census is a Samuel McCowan; all the McCown's who spell their name that way or with an "a" or without an "a" are related; I am descended from Sampson McCown b. 1775/6 SC-son of Alexander, son of Alexande-he and all 5 sons fought under the Swamp Fox, Francis Marion the Patriot; there are McClure's there also (I "betcha' 9 bucks to a stale donut " that's all family) but Samuel is not in my direct line. frances
