I have no idea; did not know but a few members of my fa's family and have been in touch with a few members/descendants of the McClure's through email. frazure@livingston.net and ML61JL65@aol.com
also if you are wondering if your ancestors were in the 1831 rolls send for: "Choctaw and Chickasaw Early Census Record" book compiled by Betty Wiltshire Cox (these are alo known as the Armstrong Rolls available through nat.l archives and I think through AGLL (American Geneological Lending Library) at your local library; if you write SLC for look ups on ancestors of 1831 write: Correspondence c/o Family History Library attn.: Dawne Hole / 35 N.W. Temple St. / Salt Lake City / Utah 84150
I found my gggrparents through census index books, then the census records and from names given me by an uncle (the name of the ggrmo was wrong on one dau.'s death record but the same family group since the fa's name was so unusual and the place of former residence verified and it all panned out through the census records and later through Internet cousins who contacted me. Started this years ago and just got a computer a few years ago; my younger son built it and I am so thankful. Don't give up. frances
