The records of the Robert and Jane Berry family, who came to South Carolina from Northern Ireland in 1768 state that two of the daughters of the immigrant son Richard, married and moved to Alabama. Through this query board, I located links to the descendants of William Livingston and Ann Berry. I do not have the given names of the Herndon male or the Berry female, but it is quite likely that the Herndon and Livingston families moved to Alabama about the same time and perhaps settled in the same area. From the birth records of the Livingston children, that would have been around the 1820s.

Does anyone have any information about a Herndon family who came to Alabama about that time period from South Carolina? Even if you know of a family group that could fit this description and it wasn't at exactly the same time, or perhaps settled in another county, I would appreciate knowing about it. I am researching this Berry family and I would so much like to be able to include this line of the descendants. I will also gladly share information.
