My great Grand Mother was Mary Ann Carter Strickland. She was Cherokee or Creek and did live in Pike,Coffee,and Geneva Counties Alabama USA. They did hid their being Indian due to the way they were treated. If anyone has this person in their genealogy please e-mail me. Thanks
