To my knowledge there never were any enclaves of Native Americans in Pike County, Alabama after it was opened up for settlement by the white pioneers. I'm sure that there were any number of people who had Native American ancestry in 1880, but very few who were full-blooded Native Americans. The Native Americans in the Southeastern states had been very cruelly forced out in 1838-39; i.e. "The Trail of Tears".
