Seeking contact with descendants of Timothy McNamara and wife Johanna. 1910 Mobile AL census shows Johanna is a widow and head of household .... children include John T. and Daniel.

1913 Mobile City Directory shows John T. and Daniel as owners of McNamara Brothers Grocery at 451 Canal Street.

Does any researcher for the above family know if Timothy McNamara was related to my grandfather, John McNamara b. 30 Apr 1884 in Lexington KY?

For some unknown reason, my grandfather moved his family from Covington KY in 1920 to Mobile and bought a house at 502 Canal Street .... near the McNamara Grocery !!

1922 Mobile City Directory shows John McNamara was employed as Locomotive Engineer with L&N Railroad. By 'coincidence', this same directory also shows a J. Patrick McNamara as fireman with L&N. Is Patrick related to Timothy & Johanna?

I have a hunch my grandfather was related in some manner to the Timothy McNamara family in Mobile in the early 1900s. Why else would he uproot his wife and small son from northern KY, move to Mobile, and take a job with the L&N Railroad where one of the Mobile McNamaras was employed?

I hope to contact a researcher of that family who may help me determine my grandfather's family. I have been searching for almost 50 years to identify my grandfather's family!
