In this book which I located in the Huntsville Library it lists a number of locations where the Loyalty Oath was taken ie Browns Mill, Haley,Pikeville etc. Most I can located but Howells is the one I cannot. I think it was called Howells Store at one time. Howells Store was an enlsitment site for part of the 5th AL Cavalry during the Civil War. Can you advise on the actual location of "Howells" and if at one time it was known as "Howells Store". Thanking you in advance,
