Trying to find info to prove that WILLIAM R. CARTER (b: ca. 1770, possibly VA) and his wife, RUTH, were the parents of SANFORD CARTER (b: ca. 1803, TN). Also trying to locate a marriage record for SANFORD CARTER to Anna ? in Marion Co., AL ca. 1828. Both William and Sanford moved to Tishomingo Co., MS where they both died.
