I do not know how you would get the Kellys history. I will talk to my husband and see if he knows the Kelly lady's name. There is a Thompson Kelly and a Josh Kelly. They are first cousins. Thompson Jr. is the son of Thompson and Adaline Kelly. Josh Jr. is the son of Josh Kelly and I have forgotten Mr. Josh's wife's name. I will find that out from my husband also. I was raised on the other side of the county and did not know the Kellys as well as my husband's family did. I am sure if you wrote an inquiry to the Huntsville Library that the ladies who work there know the family well as they have worked in the Historical Society for years as well as one of the ladies is a painter who painted all the buildings on the D.E. and J.O. Kelly farm. D.E. and J.O. was the older generation of Kellys. I will root around in my mother in law's things and see if I can come up with any info for you. Will write more later today.
I believe the lady's name is Katherine Gilliam that has done so much on the history of the farm.
