William M Jones and Elizabeth J were in Muscogee County Georgia in 1860 living with a Maddox family that I am researching. William and Elizabeth had James H age 5 and Charles age 3. Eliza Maddox was 56 (I think) and George W Maddox was 18, Andrew Maddox was 21, Nancy H Maddox was 30. I don't know why the Jones were living with the Maddox family. By 1870 the Jones were in Chambers Co Alabama, by 1880 the Jones were in Lee. In 1900 William M Jones was a widower and Annie B age 35, Loula M age 33 were with him. If there is a connection between the families Maddox and Jones I don't seem to be able to find it. Thanks Eleanor
