I know you post is old and only hope you get this post.

Ann's true name was Nancy Ann Martin, b. abt 1838 and daughter of James Martin and Mary Faulk who were in Dale Co., AL in 1850, 60, 70, 80....

1880 Rocky Head, Dale Co. James Martin of NC had 2 Grandson's in his HH James H. Clark born Feb., 1860 in AL & Coleman Clark born Jun, 1862 in AL.
I suppose Eugenia had married before 1880.

In the 1860 census was C. F. Clark, age 31, b. GA, wife Ann, age 20, b. NC, Daugther Enginna J., age 2, and James H., age 5 mos.

Therefore one of James Martin's daughters married this Clark, probably Nancy, making her Nancy Ann. Also, in the 1880 census James indicates his father was from France and his mother from NC.

James and Mary had a son named Dixon Henry Martin and he had son Henry S. who moved to Coffee Co.....had son Louie Martin, had daughter Erlene who married Warren Dixon. Warren is brother to my mother so I am related to Erlene Martin (aunt) and I have researched this Martin Line.

You said James H. married Sarah (I show her as Louisa, b. Apr 1858, in AL.) and Coleman Jr. married Delula (I show Lula M., b. Apr 1866).

Hope this helps if you are still around after your post of 6 years ago!
