The museum we have been chatting about is on Main street in downtown Centre. David Crum is the museum director.
The Cherokee County Public Library is about 2 blocks away from the museum. They do not charge to see the records but you have to let Joan the librarian know which record you want to see (after you have found it in the index) and she will pull the file. Copies are still .10 per page but may have gone up since the last time I was there.
The microfilm reader is also a printer. I think copies are also .10 from the microfilm printer.
The library's hours are Mon, Tues, Thurs and Friday from 8 am to 5 p.m., Saturday from 8 am to 12 noon. Closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.
