I'm pretty sure they are the same. I know Elisha was living with his son William A Hall in Coffee county in 1900, he must have passed sometime after that.I'm not sure when his wife Martha Delilah Sheppard died, it was before 1900 because he is widowed by then I also have some of his Pension records.If you would like to see my tree on ancestry.com let me know.
