this in reply to the JOSEPH DEAUX line. i am wesley jean deaux winters, my father was henry miles DEAUX, his father, my grandfather was joseph deaux. the census rolls says that joseph was born in canada and that his father was fron france. i have a copy of naturalization papers of my grandfather JOSEPH DEAUX. i do not know where he came from in canada, what city nor do know where his father came from in france. joseph deaux married adella, not della as has been written. i have records to prove it. i would love to know who my great grandfather was and where he lived in france and then where he lived in canada but i have not been able to prove anything. you talk about augusta deaux, where did he come from? write me. wesleywinters@cox.net
