Services for Mr John Willie “Jimbo” Holden, 61 of Madison County, AL were Saturday, August 7, 1999 at the Olivet Baptist Church in Nashville. Burial in Springhill Cemetery. Mr Holden died Monday, August 2, 1999 at his home. He is survived by his wife, Marsha L Holden; sons, John E Holden, Sterling and Michael Birdsong, and Chris Fitts; daughters, Brenda Walton, Johnnie M Leater, Tamatha and Sonya Holden, Louise and Vinie Holden, and Anna Holloway of Huntsville, AL; sister-in-laws, Marva Douglas, Meredith Hyder, Mina Woods, and Ann Whiteside of Gallatin; aunts, Virginia Robinson of Huntsville, AL and Jannie Holden of Detroit, Mich; uncles, Vanderbilt and Willie Holden of Detroit, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
