"Water" - the monument dedicated to Anne Sullivan and Helen Keller was created by world-class sculptor and long time Tewksbury resident Mico Kaufman. The 1st in the series of 3 is on the grounds of the Tewksbury Town Hall, the 2nd is in Feeding Hills. It seems that he hasn't created the 3rd yet, a natural guess would be placing it in Ivy Green, AL where the relationship began or perhaps at The Perkins School for the Blind where Anne and Helen both studied.
Off topic but Mico Kaufman is a fascinating guy. He and my husband's favorite HS teacher happened to be close friends and I never forgot his name. He has several works in Tewksbury and Lowell.
