My assumption was since you posted on the USA General board that you did so because you don't know that he actually settled in Massachusetts/Boston but merely possibly had connections there. So--as far as you know he could have been anywhere (unknown) in the USA. That is the reason I left your post on this board and didn't move it to the board covering specifically Boston.
