Hello,

I am also hoping to find any baptismal or marriage records that may be available for Reynosa. The University of Texas at Austin does hold some records from the years of 1820 to 1892, if someone is able to travel there. I hope to do this in the future.

My husband's great-great-grandparents were Nacario Farias and San Juanita Montes de Oca who were born about 1840 in Reynosa (according to the death certificate of their daughter). The only child of theirs we know of was Eujenia Farias, born about 1867, also in Reynosa. She died on Feb. 16, 1917 in McAllen, Texas.

If anyone might have seen records relating to this family, information would be greatly appreciated.
