Alright. You need to start with grandparents names and birthdates, then bis abuelos names and birthdates. If you go to
www.familysearch.org and sign up for FREE(por gratis) you can see actual copies of original information from Mexico. familysearch has few mexican records and are working on more....alot of the baptisms are late 1800's to the first 10 years of 1900's....Thats why you need names and dates on bisabuelos for starting there, but there is a 1930 mexican Census, I have managed to find my husband family on those, my husband family names are Barrera Pahua, Pahua Ponce also Pineda Diaz, Diaz Cardenas and Pineda Tinoco and Tinoco Pahua.
ALSO, defintely talk to your Grandpa, they are the best source of information when doing this, interviewing and older relative will get you more names and places and of course dates which are important.
