Hi. Contact the Govt of Sask. Vital Statistics dept.
The records that would be considered Public Recod
have not been yet indexed -and entered at the online site. All Marriages in the Province would be registered - with the Vital Statistics Dept.
*Indexing and having the info online is fairly new in many Provinces. Before that - before that - we had to enquire at Vital Statistics - and they would search.

It is sad that in so many instances when we search for records - we find that they have been lost in a fire!!
There are times when some records are found intact.

Do you know what religion the family followed. There may be records -re marriage etc

The children would not have to apply for citizenship.
The father usually did. The wife then also became a citizen as did the children.

Remember that not everything online is absolute /complete
much is transcribed or only shows basic information.
I have seen Citizenship papers - applications that mention where a persons was born/ name of Village, area etc.
Names of Parents - name and date of birth of applicant.
Port of Departure - Date - Port of Arrival - Date
Name of Passenger Ship - Shipping line.

Obtain the Registration of Death/ Genealogical Registration of Death:
These contain all the personal information required at the time as known to the informant. May show place of birth - names of both parents including maiden name of mother if known to informant. May show cause of death- etc

*Registration is full information. Certificate is an extract of basic information taken from the registration.Good for proof of an event - without disclosing personal informationt to those with no need to know

OBITUARIES - may show names and locations of other family members - children, siblings etc.

Have you searched 1900 Census for USA?
