I am looking for the parents of Hormidas Desrosier (1883-1945), from Sorel, Quebec but emigrated to Montana in 1899 at age 16 and died there. His marriage record says his parents were Nels Desrosier and Mary Genonea(sp?). I cannot find anything on these parents, in either Montana or Canada - except a Butte, Montana city directory entry for 1907 that lists a Nels Desrosier and says, "removed to Montreal, Canada," suggesting that Nels lived in Montana for at least a brief time. I would love to know who Hormidas' parents were and to find some info/records on them.
