Louis Teroux married Marie Lambert on Feb. 14, 1803 at St. Michel d'Yamaska. He was said to be the adopted son of Louis Teroux dit Laferte and Exupere Gauguet. I am quite certain he eventually became known as Louis Daniel or Louis-David Daniel. I would like to try to find his birth parents. If there is a notary record for this marriage would it have this information? How do I find the likely notaries in Yamaska in 1803?
