Surnames: BATCHELDER, BALL, WHITING, RICE
Martin: Thanks for the social security numbers. I think I found them before because I have death dates/places for all three, but somewhere along the line in my program I lost them. Not surprising due to number of computer crashes I've had the past couple years.

I don't have an Arthur F. BALL in my tree at this point. I also looked for Amanda Mae Whiting because I have a "Purette" or as she was commonly called "Retta (nee Rice) Whiting" in my tree. She was born in 1866 and was my great grand-aunt. She married a Gardner Ambrose WHITING. I don't know if they had any children and they appeared to meet probably in Sanilac Co, MI and ended up in Corvalis, OR.

Perhaps a connection with these families will turn up as we further our research.
