Elizabeth Fanny Hayes was born in Memphremagog 5 March 1884. She was subsequently orphaned and was raised from the approximate age of 2 by an aunt. Her death certificate lists only her father's last name HAYES. This is all I know. Anyone who can suggest research materials or who can do a lookup to try to find HAYES who died around 1886 in Memphremagog please email me. Because this is only one relative I can't buy reference books for Quebec, but would appreciate any help.
