Farquhar McDonell, born abt 1752, Parish of Urquhart, Inverness-shire Scotland. Married Catherine McDonald, dau of Archibald McDonald.Farquhar served in the Highland Regt. British Army, came to Canada 1776 with the Army. Received land grants in Wliilamsburg Twp. Dundas Co and Osnabruck Twp. Stormont Co. Ont. Can.
