I have a note written by a private Jim (James) Jackson that I found in a box of my mother's keepsakes. I looked him up on the Canadian archives website and found that he was born 9/16/1897 in Ontario. He enlisted in the Canadian Over seas Expeditionary Force in WWI. I would love to share this with his family. I have not found a family connection myself, so if you have a connection to this person please contact me. The note doesn't have a lot of info, but it looks as if he survived 2 major battles in WWI.
