Oh, good! Hector &^ Sophia married in 1850. Sophia was only 15 at tim e of marriage. I don't know where, but I speculate that they married in Canada. I read somewhere that the family moved to Canada when Sophia was 3 years old. Hector was 8 years old when he & his family emigrated to Canada in 1838. At some point, Hectore & Sophia lived in Woodstock Ontario. I suspect they started their family there. Sam
