Hi Manus, I am descended from Joseph Calvert Whetham. He is my Great-Great-Great Grandfather. He is Thomas Bradford Whetham's son. Thomas was the first one to cross over from England in 1812. He was Major Thomas B Whetham who moved to Canada to be in the 1812 war for England. He later settled in Ontario and my Great Grandfather Thomas & Sarah Almeada Bowling moved to Illinois and then Nebraska. From Nebraska they moved to Cottage Grove, Oregon area.
