MIDDLEBROOK FAMILIES IN MUSKOKA
I am wishing to contact descendants of these earlier pioneers in the Muskoka district who had settled around the Aspdin area:
THOMAS MIDDLEBROOK (1841-1918) & his wife ELLEN SCHELL (1845-1928).
HARPER MIDDLEBROOK (1864-1939) & his wife HANNAH MIDDLEBROOK ( 1867 - ?).
Being a descendant of the Middlebrook family myself, I have been working on the Middlebrook family history for some time now and wish to gather more details on these two large Ontario branches of the family. Both vital statistics and older photographs are requested.
With thanks, Kevin.

Re: MIDDLEBROOK FAMILIES IN MUSKOKA
Do you have any specific names of their children that you are looking up? There are an awful lot of Middlebrooks. I can do a lookup on Ancestry.ca 1901 and 1911 census on www.automatedgenealogy.com

Re: MIDDLEBROOK FAMILIES IN MUSKOKA
Kevin,
Do you have any of your family tree posted on the WorldConnect Project (the free part of Ancestry)? I have both Thomas Middlebrook +Ellen Schell and Harper Middlebrook +Hannah Middlebrook in my file there, but don't believe I've spotted your name in any of the WC files I've reviewed so far.

Re: MIDDLEBROOK FAMILIES IN MUSKOKA
Hi:
Thanks very much for your reply to my query concerning the Middlebrook families in Muskoka.
I have several questions regarding this connection, so I hope you don't mind being tossed a few at this time.
#1) Do you have any older photographs of the Middlebrook family?? (ie. Thomas Middlebrook & Ellen Schell and their children).
#2) Would you have any details about these children of Thomas & Ellen (Schell) Middlebrook as follows: William Middlebrook (later married Emma Heidman); Joseph Middlebrook (later married Margaret Emily Schell)
#3) Would you have any further details about the children of Thomas & Mary (Middlebrook) Schell??? , especially for the two youngest, being Harper Schell & Hazel Schell??
Thanks for your time and interest.
Regards, Kevin.

Re: MIDDLEBROOK FAMILIES IN MUSKOKA
My great grandparents are William Schell, Hazel Schell (Heidman). William Schell is one of Thomas and Mary Middlebrooks 12 Children.
I'm more specifically interested in what aboriginal heritage Mary Middlebrooks is from. What reserve, tribe and Clan.
Thanks Angela
